LAST SEASONS VANS!

John - SOLD

1995 Mitsubishi Delica - $17,499

Another friendly face is on its way from Japan. John the Super Exceed Delica is a 1995 L300 with 95,611 miles under his belt. We’re especially excited about John, not just because of his low miles, but also his 5-speed manual transmission. Comes with all the standard features of a third generation Delica: automatic locks, windows, climate control in the rear seats, thermometer/barometer/altimeter on dash. The Exceed model normally seats 7 people and has 3 rows of seats, but John’s 3rd row has been previously removed, making him one step closer to being camper van ready. The middle row seats can be flipped to face forward or backward, or can also be easily removed. 4 doors, including rear hatch and sliding door on passenger side. Automatic transmission with shifting 4x4 capabilities and auto locking hubs, all running off a 4 cylinder, 2.5L turbo diesel engine. 1995 was the last year they made the 3rd generation Delica before switching mid-year to the L400. As always, we fully inspect the vans before they leave Japan and repair any issues we find. John was in incredible shape when he came to us, but we still did maintenance on his brakes, as well as new fluids throughout. We’re stoked to have another Delica on the road.

Cassy - SOLD

1994 Toyota Townace Super Deluxe - $14,999

Please welcome this beautiful babe to the Dirtbag Fleet! Cassy is another new van for our inventory, but we have been hoping to get our hands on a TownAce since we started this company. The TownAce is a little sibling to the Toyota Hiace and was designed with a smaller body and rounder shape. But Cassy still has room to play, and the capabilities to get you almost anywhere. Cassy features 3 rows of seats, which can easily be folded up or down to make more room, with the middle row capable of rotating 180 degrees. She has 2 moon roofs, perfect for star gazing. 4WD high and low, 3C-T 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, manual locking front hubs, power locks & windows, front/rear climate control, and of course, the signature Japanese van headlights. We have done a lot of work to Cassy before her departure to the US, including: new water pump, new timing/fan/cooling/power steering belts, new thermostat, new radiator, new brakes, plus new fluids, seals, battery, wipers, and bulbs. She’s practically a brand new van! She’s a looker on the inside and out.

Jack - SOLD

1995 Toyota Hiace GL - $14,499

Our second Toyota Hiace came from a private seller in Japan, as opposed to the auto auctions where we find most of our vans. The seller was actually friends with our Japanese colleague, which gives us even more confidence that this van will continue to run for miles and miles. Jack is a 1995 Toyota Hiace with 106,254 miles on him. He is also our second 5 speed manual in this shipment. The Hiace is longer and faster than the Mitsubishi Delica, while still sporting 4WD shift capabilities. He is pretty bare-bones on the inside; it would seem someone has already started your camper-van project! But the middle row remains inside. This GL Hiace is the Super Long edition, giving you even more cargo space. 3L/2.8L diesel engine, clean interior, and yes, you get to keep the rug. As always, we fully inspect the vans before they leave Japan and repair any issues we find. Jack has a new muffler, new belts, transmission mount, and brakes, as well as fluids and general maintenance.

Phillip - SOLD

1994 Nissan Caravan - $11,499

This van is a new one for us. Meet Phillip! Phillip is a 1992 Nissan Caravan GT Cruise. The Nissan Caravan was in direct competition with the Toyota Hiace, and both vans are very similar mechanically and in shape, and style. Phillip has only 101,619 miles and features a 2.7L, 4-cylinder diesel engine with 4x4 capabilities. The interior is especially clean and features advanced electronics (for a 1992), including power windows, door locks, seats, sunroof, and even power curtains (have yet to test in person). These vans are larger than the Delica we typically import and can seat 8 people comfortably, with several different folding arrangements for added space. The exterior has minor scrapes and blemishes, but no dents or significant damage. The Nissan Caravan is a rare find in the States and would be an excellent camper van project. We always have our vans fully repaired before they are shipped. Philip has had work done to the brakes, stabilizers, A/C, as well as new fluids throughout. Philip isn’t quite the head-turner that the Delica is, but he is a bit more powerful, more spacious, and more unique here in Colorado.

Bobby - SOLD

1992 Mitsubishi Delica Exceed - $12,499

This is is Bobby! Bobby is a 1993 Mitsubishi Delica Exceed with 142,294 miles. She is in excellent shape inside and out, featuring all the Delica classics: automatic locks, windows, climate control in the rear seats, and traditional yellow foglight on bumper. The Exceed model seats 7 people and has 3 rows of seats, the rear row folds down and can be removed for camper van customization. The middle row features swiveling bucket seats, which can also be removed. This van has Delica seat covers on the bucket seats. 4 doors, including rear hatch and sliding door on passenger side. Automatic transmission with 4x4 capabilities, all running off a turbo diesel engine. Bobby also has a CD player with AUX plug-in, and a ladder on the rear hitch for roof accessibility. We always have our Delica inspected and repaired before they are shipped. This van was in excellent condition when we purchased it, and needed little work done. But we still replaced the brakes, which were getting worn, as well as new fluids, filters and battery. Bobby is clean inside and out and would be perfect for Colorado adventures.

Ronnie - SOLD

1991 Mitsubishi Delica Exceed - $19,999

Introducing Ronnie! This is a 1991 Mitsubishi Delica Exceed with very low mileage at 47,419. Body is in excellent condition and we made minor repairs to the ladder on the hitch to make sure everything is in perfect shape. The interior is so clean it is still wrapped in plastic. Comes with all the standard features of a third generation Delica: automatic locks, windows, climate control in the rear seats, thermometer/barometer/altimeter on dash. The Exceed model seats 7 people and has 3 rows of seats, the rear row folds down and can be removed for camper van customization. The middle row features swiveling bucket seats, which can also be removed. 4 doors, including rear hatch and sliding door on passenger side. Automatic transmission with 4x4 capabilities, all running off a turbo diesel engine. Also features interior curtains, black exterior, traditional round Delica headlights on the front bumper and, of course, right handed steering. We always have our Delica inspected and repaired before they are shipped. Because of her low milage, Ronnie was already in excellent mechanical shape. But we did have the AC condenser replaced, as well as some brake maintenance. Plus a new battery, and fluids/filters. Ronnie is an absolute gem and would make a great camper van, people mover, work vehicle or daily driver. The non-traditional black paint will surely turn heads.

Jim - SOLD

1992 Mitsubishi Delica Chamonix - $13,999

Introducing Jim! We were especially excited to add Jim to our fleet because he is a Delica Chamonix. In addition to the normal features of a 1992 Mitsubishi Delica, the Chamonix model comes with thick, waterproof carpets, a standard limited-slip rear differential, dual batteries and a more robust alternator to help ensure reliability in low temperatures. This Chamonix has the high-roof option, which comes with added roof insulation. Jim was made for the mountains! The van has 138,690 miles and seats 8 people with 3 rows of seats, the middle and rear rows fold down and can be removed for camper van customization. The middle row features swiveling seat backs, so passengers can choose to face each other. It has 4 doors, including rear hatch and sliding door on passenger side. Automatic transmission with 4x4 capabilities, all running off a turbo diesel engine. The interior is very clean and features the retro fabric patterns on all the seats, and the exterior has the classic Chamonix decals on both sides. This van also has curtains throughout the van, classic Delica foglights, thermometer/barometer/altimeter on dash, and a plastic trunk liner to protect the carpet in the rear. As always, we repair these vans of any problems before they leave Japan, and Jim had maintenance done to his brakes, as well as new fluid, filters and battery. Jim might have the name of a French mountain painted all over the exterior (Chamonix), but he is right at home in Colorado.

Javan - SOLD

1994 Toyota Hiace Super Custom Limited

Meet The Javan, a 1994 Toyota Hiace Super Custom Limited with 87,551 miles. This van has a 3.0L turbo, 4 cylinder diesel motor, with an automatic transmission and full-time 4x4 capabilities. Featuring 3 rows of seats, fitting 7 people comfortably while still folding down to create more space when needed. It has climate control in the rear, curtains throughout the cab, 4 automatic sunroof throughout the back. The Hiace was surprisingly advanced for it’s time, featuring powered accessories that include one touch power window, power mirrors, all four sunroof controls, digital dashboard, power seat adjustment and door locks. As always we have all of our vans fully repaired before they arrive in Colorado, and on this van we replaced the brake pads and brake lines, A/C belt, fan belt, fuel pump, as well as new fluids, filters and battery. The Hiace is more spacious and more powerful than the Delica, so this van would make a great camper van conversion. The one flaw with The Javan is some fading on the exterior decals, but the rest of the van is in excellent condition.

Our Summer Home - SOLD

1992 Mitsubishi Delica - $10,499 (With all the racks $13,499)

This is a camperized 4x4 diesel minivan, with two bucket seats in the front and a memory foam full-sized mattress in the back. There are two large heavy-duty drawers in the back for storage and cooking space. It's a very comfortable space for up to two people to camp or live.

Odometer: 143000 miles
Transmission: automatic

The short wheelbase and big tires make this van great in sand, deep snow, or virtually any terrain. It has a diesel engine so it gets better gas mileage than comparable gas vans from the 90s (~20 mpg average). The engine has the reputation of lasting forever.

It's a great adventure vehicle, and has a big basket rack on top as well as a huge lockable roof cargo box. It also has a 2-bike cradle-style bike rack, with a swing-away extension. This vehicle has more than $3,000 in racks alone!

I have also done a decent amount of work to the van recently: things like adding a manual glow plug switch, to make it easier to start in cold weather, new fuel system, and flushed radiator. This thing is good to go! I would drive this van around the world in a heartbeat.

Tommy - SOLD

1992 Mitsubishi Delica Super Exceed - $14,999

Meet Tommy! Tommy just arrived in Colorado from Japan where he spent his first 25 years and roughly 95,000 miles. The Mitsubishi Delica is a great, reliable van, that they never produced in the States. So we decided to find them ourselves and bring them home to Colorado, where they fit in among the other popular 4x4's, but stand out for their goofy looks, spacious interior, and right sided steering.

Tommy has 4 doors, including a sliding rear door and a hatch on the trunk. The middle seats are Captain seats that will rotate 360 degrees and slide forward or backward. The rear seats fold up or down to increase trunk space. But at capacity, he seats 7 comfortably. Automatic windows and Crystal Lite sunroof that automatically opens in 4 windows on the roof. Climate controls in front and rear. 4x4 capabilities. Diesel engine. Clean interior. This would make a great campervan project!
